Below are the rosters for the 2016-2017 Season.
Please find your child’s name and follow his/her schedule when it becomes available in mid-August.
Coaches will contact all players before the season starts on September 6.
Players were placed based on tryout ratings and coach evaluations.
If you have changed your mind and do not plan to play or coach this season please let us know asap.
It is very important that your child is placed with players of similar abilities to reach his/her full potential. The old school thinking that weaker players will improve playing with top players does not hold true. A weaker player will rarely touch the puck, score or be involved in the play with stronger players. How will they develop the skills they need to improve if they don’t touch or carry the puck? On the flip side the stronger players will not develop if they don’t have line mates that can keep up with them and make plays together.
If the evaluators made a mistake on a player it will be obvious pretty quick and we will move players accordingly during parity.
The practice schedule will be released in mid-August and the Valley usually doesn’t release the game schedule until the last week in August.
We will provide much more information on the 2016-2017 season in the coming weeks.
